Frequently Asked Questions

Who can apply within  the 2nd cohort?

1. What does the scholarship cover?

The second cohort is for undergarduate, master and PhD students, post doctorates and staff from the Western Balkans who belong to TG 1 (partner universities) or TG 3 (applicants in a vulnerable situation). Candidates from the EU and TG 2 candidates from the Western Balkans cannot apply. Approximately 12 scholarships will be granted at all levels. NO scholarships for full degree have been foreseen, only exchange for a semester or two. Post doctorates can apply for 6 months, staff - for 1 month. It is not possible to apply to the University of Warsaw, because this institution accepted the greatest number of scholarship holders in the 1st cohort. Candidates from Albania, B&H, FYROM and Kosovo* are especially encouraged to apply, because there were too few of them in the 1st cohort.
