Selection process:

- Eligibility check done by the Host University.

- TG 3 validity check done by the Committee of Experts, consisting of 1 representative of the Western Balkans, 1 representative of the EU, and if possible - 1 impartial expert.

- TG 1 validation done by the Home University.

- Proposed selection process at Host Universities:
  - Assessment of the applications with the use of EM A2 SIGMA Agile selection criteria, done by the potential receiving departments.
  - Entering scores in the data base, preparation of ranking lists of the best candidates, considering the department's strategies.  
  - Ranking lists for the whole university on the basis of the ranking lists sent by the departments, e.g. prepared by a special local Selection Committee, considering the university's strategies.
These lists should be prepared by mobility level.

Each partner university will ensure that the selection and ranking is done in a transparent way and that there is no conflict of interests in this process.

- Selection Committee meeting and selection of the scholarship holders, on the basis of the scores and ranking lists sent by the Partners Institutions, considering such aspects as: gender balance, inclusion of TG 2 and TG 3, balance between the Partner Universities and the participating countries. Reserve list will be prepared.

The Selection Committee will ensure that the selection is done in a transparent way and that there is no conflict of interests in this process.

- Confirmation of the acceptance of the nominees by the Host Universities.

- Announcement of the results (done by Project Coordinator), acceptance of nominations.

- Dealing with drop-outs.

- Final list of nominees ready by June 30th 2015 (first cohort); June 30th 2016 (second cohort); August 30th 2017 (third cohort).
