Eduroam project defines two wireless networks: eduroam-open and eduroam. Eduroam-open network allows you to access this website - here you can find all the instructions describing how to connect to eduroam network.
Internet access is available only through eduroam network.
Instructions describe eduroam network access configuration for all students and employees of Warsaw University, who have active account in Centrallnym Systemie Uwierzytelniania UW (UW Central Authentication System).
Users from other institutions participating in eduroam project should configure their access according to their instituion rules and instructrions .
EDUROAM NETWORK CONFIGURATION FOR MICROSOFT WINDOWS XP
Before accessing eduraom network, change your password on logowanie.uw.edu.pl
Below you can find a movie showing recommended configuration in Microsoft Windows XP
1. Click wireless network icon in system tray with your right mouse button
|2. Click "Change preferred networks order"|
3. In "Wireless networks" tab click "Add". If eduroam profile already exists on the list, delete it
|4. Configure "Association" tab according to picture on the right (if WPA2 option is unavailable, choose WPA and TKIP)|
|5. Configure "Authentication" tab according to picture on the right, click "Properties" next|
|6. Configure according to picture on the right|
7. After clicking the message type in your username in <PESEL>@uw.edu.pl format and your password, login domain should remain blank
